Submitting your yearbook is a major milestone. Finally, after months of writing, designing, photographing, editing, and proofreading, it’s a great feeling to finish uploading those final pages! But once the submission is complete, many advisers ask the same question: “Now what?”
By this point in the school year, many yearbook teams are deep in production, preparing for final submission. Pages have come together, photos have been collected, and deadlines are very close, too close! For some teams, there’s a nagging concern in the back of their mind: “We might be a little behind.”
As submission deadlines approach, yearbook teams often focus on finishing pages as quickly as possible. After months of writing captions, collecting photos, and designing spreads, it can be tempting to upload the files and move on. But the final review stage is one of the most important parts of the production process.
