We can help you educate your students, in everything from yearbook design to workflow processes to teamwork and interpersonal communications. We have podcasts, handouts, online curriculum, and even in-person workshops that we can do right in your classroom.

We also understand that each school and each team is different. So our workshops can be customized to meet your specific needs.

We've done it, it works, and it's all yours at no additional cost!

Unless your book is a one-person job (good luck with that!), you need to build a team; people who support and appreciate each other, work together toward goals and results, communicate well, and take responsibility.

We have resources and experience to help you pull that off. Here's just a few of the topics we've done:

  • Collaboration

  • Communication Skills

  • Leadership

  • Team Building

  • Time Management

  • Strengths and personalities

And if you have unique concerns or dynamics within your team, let's talk. We can help!

Before you take a single picture or start dreaming about cover designs, you have some big, over-arching decisions to make, including:

  • What is the theme of your book?

  • What will be the tone of your book?

  • How are you going to organize your book?

  • How many pages is your book, and how will you decide how many pages a particular event or topic gets?

There's a lot more to think about, too. We have the resources and experience to help you make wise and regret-free decisions about big questions.

This is the fun part, and it's also the part where good yearbooks can become great yearbooks. United Yearbook has tons of options and customizations that can make your team's creative ideas into reality!

But having options isn't enough, is it? How do you decide which ones to choose, and what looks good together? We can help your students learn about how design (color, font, layout, style, etc.) can communicate ideas, and they'll learn in a way that will not only help them build a yearbook but will help them in their future.

Developing workflow. Delegating and tracking assignments. Taking and organizing pictures. Writing captions. Using software. Making last-minute changes. Whew! This is the crazy part!

We'll be right alongside you, every step of the way. We have workshops and curriculum for these (and more!):

  • Software like Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

  • Our software, including auto-flowing files from your school photographer

  • Basic photography & photo-journalism

  • Creative writing, including writing good photo captions

  • Developing a work-flow for the yearbook process

We get it; it's hard to get excited about creating a book if you think no one will buy it. In an age of Instagram and phones with cameras, do people still buy books of pictures?

We can't speak for others, but they sure buy ours. At United Yearbook, we not only give you tips and training on how to get your audience interested, we will partner with you in sponsoring parties and events that raise awareness and get your audience excited. We'll even set up an email and/or social media campaign for you...no extra charge!

We confess: Our books are a sell out. Let us help you be a sell out!
