For the second consecutive year, we had the pleasure of working with an experienced yearbook adviser from Tehachapi High School. Demonstrating a proactive approach, the adviser reached out early to discuss online sales setup and came prepared with cover design ideas well before the school year began.

The yearbook featured a unique die-cut design shaped like a rough-edged map, creating a distinctive tactile experience. Early in the process, the adviser raised concerns about the prototype’s foil stamping potentially peeling off during student handling. To address this, we employed heavy-duty machinery for mass production and added a protective PP Lamination layer over the foil to ensure durability without compromising the design’s visual impact.

Upon delivery, the final product received immediate approval. The internal pages showcased vibrant, creative, and consistent layouts. The students took full ownership of the design, following a detailed style guide and participating in critique sessions to defend and refine their work—making this a truly student-driven yearbook.

The yearbook also highlighted a strong community connection through local business advertisements and triple photo spreads that documented students’ growth from childhood through graduation. This thoughtful approach captured both school life and personal stories, perfectly reflecting Tehachapi High School’s close-knit community spirit.
